Recognized for its fresh approach and “youthful, rule-bending style,” the Birdfoot Festival brings artists and audiences together to make and experience dynamic chamber music. Taking inspiration from New Orleans’ musical traditions, Birdfoot’s international music festival each May draws artists and audiences from across the nation and six continents. Now celebrating its fifth season, the festival’s annual programming includes artist residencies, a Young Artist Program for local students, and more than 20 performances and events in communities throughout the city.
Check out the 5th year of Birdfoot May 18-29, 2016. For more info visit their site at birdfootfestival.org
